Common skills involved in playing Gaelic Football. If you can master these you will have the basic skills you need!

You can catch the ball in the air

You cannot pick the ball off the ground with
your hands, you must get your toe under it first

You can take four steps with the ball in your hands,
but then you have to do something with it

You can bounce the ball, but not twice in succession

You can 'solo', i.e. kick the ball back up into your
hands, unlimited times

You can pass the ball by slapping it with an open
hand or fist

The most common way to shoot at the goal or pass the ball or is to kick it
