CYC 2008

The Continental Youth Championship (CYC) is an annual weekend tournament of Gaelic Football and Hurling organized by the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by teams from the USA, Canada and England. It began in 2004, and its location rotates around various cities from year to year. The age of players ranges from Under 8 to Under 18.

“What an experience!  We were very lucky to be part of such a great event.”

The Philadelphia Divisional Youth Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and North American County Board (NACB) will play host to this years CYC on July 24-27th in Philadelphia. The tournament style Championships will bring 1,500 elite players from across the nation and we hope to have Canada well represented with players from Durham!

Location
Greater Chester Valley Soccer Associations’ Line Road Complex in Willistown, Chester County, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.
