Hi Everyone,

This week saw the end of our 2011 summer program.   It was a great 9 weeks and we hope all the players had just as much fun playing as we did coaching.     We had 70+ players over the 3 age divisions, a volunteer staff of 12 dedicated club members and numerous guest trainers came to work with us as well.   Our organizing committee are delighted with the participation, feedback and results from the program.   Plans for our next program are already underway to make the next offering even better.

To celebrate our success, and show our appreciation to our players, their families, and volunteers we are having an end of season pizza party at Boston Pizza in Ajax on Wed Aug 10th 7:00 pm to 8:30.    All players who attend will receive pizza, a drink and a small token of the clubs appreciation for playing with us this summer.   Special guest, Brian Farmer -  President of the Gaelic Football Association in Canada will be there to say a few words and meet all our players. 

We'd ask that you RSVP with your player(s) names  by Sunday Aug 7th so we can ensure we have ordered enough food for the players.   We have reserved the whole dining room for our event so feel free to bring family and friends along, regular dining service is available on the evening.

Annette will also be collecting, selling and distributing our Beer For a Year raffle tickets at this event should anyone need to return their stubs/funds or collect more tickets to sell.
